What are the requirements to register products?
Eligibility criteria for registering a product:
1. Strict adherence to the value added requirements for the registered product(s) (mandatory)
2. Provision of one of the certificates below as per the sector of the entity:
- A Conformity Certificate from Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO)
- An Efficiency Label from the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO)
- An IEC Certificate from the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO)
- A Product Registration Certificate from the Saudi Food and Drug General Authority (SFDA)
- A SAMAQ Certificate from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA)
- A Trading Certificate (for pesticides, soil, and seeds) from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA)
- A Dates Label from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA)
- Livestock Certificates from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA)
- A Saudi GAP Certificate from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA)
- An Organic Label from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA)
